Amethyst in the healing community is associated with the appeasement of anger, anxiety and detoxification. Purple, is the end of the colour spectrum, and is considered a "master healing stone" evoking spiritual awareness as well as physical and mental healing. In the Feng Shui tradition, purple is "Yin".
