Explore the ease of restorative yoga with just a few props. Learn simple yet effective ways of weaving restoration into your life and teachings, making the nourishing gift of relaxation more accessible. As a teacher, you'll discover new ways of bringing the benefits of peace and calm into your regular as well as your restorative classes. As a practitioner, you'll receive the benefits first hand ~ soothe your nervous system, strengthen your immune system and release tension throughout your whole body! This experiential intensive will leave you feeling refreshed, inspired and full of tools to enhance your personal practice and to share with your students. Yoga teachers, dedicated students and health care professionals are welcome. Wildflower's restorative teaching practice has been influenced by studies with Susi Hately of Functional Synergy, Judith Lasater, Donna Farhi and Parvathi Nanda Nath Saraswati. Gurudev Yogi Amrit Desai is one of a handful of gurus who came to the United States in the 1960’s from India that began the yoga craze that has grown year after year into the massive and diverse yoga communities that we have today.
